Backup, NAS & recovery

Recovery of lost, corrupted or deleted files from hard drives, SSDs and external storage — plus layered backup so it doesn't happen to you twice.

01 / Scope

Recovery and protection

Two sides of the same problem: getting data back when something failed, and making sure the next failure costs you nothing.

HDD

Hard drive recovery

Failing, crashed or corrupted drives — mechanical faults, bad sectors and file system corruption.

SSD

SSD data recovery

NVMe and SATA drives, including firmware issues, accidental formatting and deleted file recovery.

USB

External storage

USB drives, portable hard drives, SD cards and memory cards that have stopped being recognised.

CLOUD

Cloud backup

Automated offsite backup so a hardware failure stops being a disaster and becomes an inconvenience.

NAS

NAS & local backup

Network-attached storage and scheduled local backups for home and business, with shared access done properly.

PLAN

Backup planning

A strategy sized to what you'd genuinely lose sleep over, not a product sold off a shelf.

02 / How we work

The 3-2-1 rule, in plain terms

Three copies of anything that matters, on two different types of storage, with one of them offsite. Most data loss we see comes down to a single copy on a single drive — and drives are consumables, not permanent storage.

  • Honest assessment of recovery odds before you commit
  • Confidential handling of sensitive files
  • Original drive never written to during recovery
  • Backup strategy matched to what you'd actually lose
  • Automated schedules so nobody has to remember
  • Restore tested, not just assumed

03 / Questions

Common questions

Can you guarantee my data will be recovered?

No, and be wary of anyone who does. Some failures are recoverable and some are not. We assess your drive and tell you honestly what the odds look like before you commit to anything.

What should I do right now if a drive failed?

Stop using it. Every minute a failing drive stays powered on can overwrite what's still readable. Disconnect it and bring it in rather than running recovery software over it.

Is my data kept confidential?

Yes. Customer data is handled securely and confidentially, and we don't browse beyond what's needed to complete the recovery.

What backup should a small business have?

At minimum: an automated local backup plus an offsite or cloud copy, with the restore actually tested. An untested backup is a hope, not a backup.
